I would highly recommend adding a lift pump at the floor level of machine to reduce the chance of air ingress, and also to greatly ease bleeding the supply side of the fuel system.

When fuel comes out of them the air is bled out. Tighten the lines and it should run. The fuel shut off solenoid wire breaks off sometimes too, so check that, if no fuel comes out.
Shut off the fuel, pull the small side cover window, let the fuel drain. Rotate the engine BY HAND until the 2 lines line up.. 1 is stationary and 1 rotates. Check the timing *'s on your flywheel for proper engine timing w/ the lines lined up.. Check the fuel shut solenoid is working, if it's not, it will not allow fuel to get to the injector pump. Start by hooking up a jug of fresh fuel straight to the lift pump. Prime it and ensure you are getting fuel to the injector pump (lift pumps do go bad).
