I looked at a really rough Toyota skid steer for sale recently - they seem really stout. This one had a rusted out bucket and wanted to creep to one side constantly but it was still really tight for what it was. The main problem you will have is matching the height and mounting arrangement. How is the engine attached to the pump? in line or belt driven? Belt drive is a little less of a problem as you don't need to line the pump and motor up spot on. If its direct you need to pay close attention to lining up the end of the pump to the end of the motor. Just acquired a 97 Toyota SDK7, it's functioning, but needs some TLC. ANyone familiar with them got any advice on things to maintain? Currently the pedals are sticky making up and down and bucket tilt pretty jerky. Also it fires up, but even after running, sometimes has a hard time getting started.

I am having a problem with the pedals being stuck so the bucket will not curl back up. The pedals both move together instead of independently. I will also change the filters and will use the type f since it seems that was in there before.I find some leaking fuel problems and discuss the Liqui Moly engine flush. I change the oil again and install a larger oil filter. I talk about my next orde.
