The boom and boom linkage all have replaceable bushings in the pivots. The bushings are not expensive, but getting the tapered pins out of the linkage can be a real pain. I would suggest just starting to replace all the bushings starting with the links that are the longest. I have a 2009 L185 with less than 300 hours on it. The problem I have with is that the boom will not go up until I activate the auxillary hydraulic handle, and as soon as I release the auxilaary hydraulic handle, the boom will come down when I push down on the left foot pedal to raise the boom.
