Decided to fix it with the intent to be able to jump in it, carry out a job without having the spend time airing up tires, finding a battery and all that. It would be handy if it would be reliable and ready to go. I purchased this L445 as a non runner a couple years ago. I finally found some time to work on it and I have the engine running nicely. The problem I'm having is the skid steer moves forward slowly and when you attempt to go in reverse it will take off at full speed and you can't get it to stop unless you slam the levers forward several times . Hey guys I'm used to using the big 5500-6000lb skid steers but was looking at a 3300lb NH L455 instead of my John Deere 1025R for moving dirt into my small 1 tom dump truck .
