Our Annual Equipment Roadeo is back in Perry, GA, where we held our very first event in 2018. Competitors can choose to compete on a mini excavator, mini street sweeper, or both, for the cost of just one event.Each year, public works equipment operators from the Bay Area compete in the American Public Works Association (APWA) regional contest known as the Equipment Roadeo. Operators demonstrate various precision skills with backhoes and mini-excavators in timed sessions and with obstacles while avoiding penalties from miscues.

COMPETITION: Agency teams will compete for a trophy based on overall scores in four competitions: Backhoe Skills, Mini-Excavator Skills, Sign Assembly, and Wheelbarrow Obstacle Endurance.
