(not sure which) This little valve that allows hydraulic fluid to the brake mechanism can jam with the smallest of "material" aka. pieces of metal. I've tested what I'm told I'm told is the park brake solenoid mounted down by the foot pedals (john deere told me this was the brake solenoid, but i feel like its a hydraulic solenoid for the foot controls.) which is functional. all the light turn off on the dash when i cycle the seat .If you are experiencing a problem that is not listed in this chart, see your John Deere distributor for service. The park brake is an electric solenoid. If your parking brake is giving trouble, check seat switch, then seat belt switch, then park lock switch, then replace the dash with the updated one with wire harness. So I am trying to check the parking brake solenoid, but apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out which one it is. Anyone got any indication where the brake solenoid is on a 280. It looks like on the 240-250s it is inside the hydaulic filter housing, but the 280 is different. Probably looking right at it and too stupid to see it.Contents TM11399(15MAR19) ii 318D,319D,320Dand323D(ManualControls) 031519 PN=2 https://johndeeremanual.com
