i have a 2004 Mustang 2044, great little machine, simple to operate and repair. i would join heavyequipmentforums.com and do a search on the 2109. ive read quite a few horror stories about the 2109. do afew searches online first. i have a 2004 Mustang 2044. great machine. simple and effective. decided to keep it being it only has 470hrs on it. looking at getting a root grapple for it. As with most internet searches for equipment reviews, you typically only find those folks with bad experiences and looking to vent. As someone looking to add a skid steer on a modest budget to the farm, I've found several Mustang's in my price range but I'm leary based on lack of positive reviews. I ran across a Mustang 940 skid steer with low hours. Just wondering if people have experience operating these skids? What controls are used on these machines? Are parts readily available? I have attached a picture of the one Im looking at. Thanks for your input.
