Hey everyone Currently looking to purchase a skid steer with a mulcher for a new business and I was just wondering what you guys charge for your skid steer & mulcher per hour or per day what you charge the customer for moving the machine I have figured out my break-even point hourly cost and I will be the only one operating any advise will help a lot thank you! My advice would be to learn about the requirements of organizing your new business and go to work on that, and the other systems of your business before you start building a fleet of equipment. If your area is anything like the us, you can start a business, and put a couple of hundred dollars toward marketing with a budget of less than 2,000.00. Go used on a speculative business, even though Cat has documented higher resale than any machine over the past 40 years, you are still going to loose your greatest amount of money on a new purchase. Heck I might even find some old bone for that and when your phone starts ringing, skid steer availability is pretty good country wide. Then go new.
Hey im having trouble with starting a Case 1840, when I go to start it all I get is this clicking sound, im guessing its got something to do with the starter motor, the thing is I had just arc welded the muffler tip back on, I disconnected the battery so I figured it wasnt a problem its not like I connected the clamp to one side of the bobcat and welded on the other any way . Not trying to bash you but aren't you like 16 and just starting your company this spring? I think you probably shouldn't be looking at buying tractors or skid steers anytime soon and more focusing on succeeding as a new business and actually building up a business.
