Vermeer has spent a great deal of money on perfecting the controls for the s600TX and s800TX and this is where I see them having a small edge over the ditch witch. We rented extensively an s600TX diesel before purchasing the sk650. The Vermeer diesel handled the bucket operations at full ground speed with little to no power drop. My gasser tends to drop RPM's pretty good when articulating the bucket and arms at full forward speed. Can't deny that. But, with just the landscaping stuff I do and minimal dirt work, I have no real problems or never think I wish I had more power.
